Ismael Cala was born in Santiago de Cuba (1969). He graduated as a Bachelor of Art History from the Universidad de Oriente and a Journalist at the School of Communication at the University of York, Canada. He holds a Seneca diploma in Television Production and completed the Executive Program of the avant-garde Singularity University in San Francisco, USA.
Ismael Cala continued his preparation hand in hand with world icons in the field of Leadership, Personal Growth and Integral Well-being, such as: Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Robin Sharma, John Maxwell, Camilo Cruz, Chris Gardner and Don Miguel Ruiz, among others. He is co-author of the book "Beat the Curve", with Brian Tracy.
After his well-known work as a social communicator in front of the cameras of CNN en Español, today Ismael Cala is an ambassador of social entrepreneurship, mindfulness and well-being through his multiple conferences and seminars before massive audiences in Latin America, the United States, Canada and Europe.
Cala is a visiting professor at Atlantis University and Next University, writes a weekly column for more than 50 publications in Latin America and the United States, and is a regular contributor to Univision's "Despierta América" program. "The New York Times" called him "the Latino Larry King."
Ismael Cala also serves as Chief Creative Officer and President of Cala Enterprises. Simultaneously, he directs the Ismael Cala Foundation, a non-profit organization that works for the integral development of Latino youth.
