Who is she? Sonja Lyubomirsky, originally from Russia, is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. With a summa cum laude bachelor’s degree from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology from Stanford, Sonja is a leading expert in the science of happiness.

She gives talks on how and why happiness can change over time, and how well-being can be increased and sustained.

Her research and books have been featured in international media outlets.

She has published numerous articles in renowned scientific journals.
